When I lived in Germany and Sicily, it was
hard to find store catalogs that would ship
to an APO or FPO address. There are many
downfalls to living at an overseas military
base when it came to finding places that would
honor shipping to our addresses.

Now, with the many stores that honor shipping to
military bases, it's not as difficult to buy
clothing. At one time, we only had the Base
Exchanges to rely on for shopping for clothes.
Can you imagine going out and everyone is wearing
the same outfit? LOL Let me tell you, it's not
fun wearing a uniform everyone else has on all week
and going out just to find you all have the same
cocktail outfit or attire!
